Weldon Inn was founded in 1926 and as such is one of the oldest Phi Delta Phi Inns in Canada. Unfortunately Weldon Inn ran into financial difficulties in the Great Depression and owing to these difficulties had its charter deactivated. In order to reactivate its charter, it is necessary for current enrolled students to propose a slate of ten initiates for membership and approval by barrister members of Phi Delta Phi.
