Laurier Inn was named after Sir Wilfrid Laurier, the 7th Prime Minister of Canada. Laurier Inn was granted its charter on April 7, 1979.

Al Burton serves on the Board of Directors for Phi Delta Phi (Ontario) Society and is also appointed as Assistant Province President for Phi Delta Phi International for Eastern Canada. As an undergrad alumnus of McGill University, Al has a special interest in assisting Laurier Inn. Interested students should email president@phideltaphicanada.ca.
